Solomun + 1 at Pacha is one of the must-visit nights in Ibiza each and every year. One again in 2018, the simple but effective concept will build on past successes and welcome plenty of debutant DJ performances as well as welcome back much loved favourites. The weekly Sunday party runs from May 27 until October 14th, making it one of the longest summer residencies on the island, as well as one of the most special thanks to guests including The Black Madonna, Bicep, Gerd Janson, Dixon, Tale of Us, Sven Väth, Michael Mayer, keinemusik (Rampa, Adam Port, &ME) and many more.
The idea behind Solomun + 1 is simple, and sees the guest play their set, then the Dynamic label boss and global house tastemaker plays a solo set before finally going back to back with his guest. The famous Pacha club is always transformed with plenty of great production next to the world class sound system, making this a truly unique and immersive house and techno experience at the famous club. This year, for the first time in decades, it has been renovated and refurbished, with a new layout and decor ensuring it is still the must-visit club in Ibiza.
The opening party is always huge and this year finds Life And Death label boss and Italian tastemaker DJ Tennis play, while the closing on October 14th welcomes core Dynamic family members Adriatique to offer up their melodic and emotional techno sound.
In between there will be huge debuts from superstars like The Black Madonna, Chloe and Bicep, plus sets from legends like Dubfire and Cocoon’s Sven Väth, Kompakt label boss Michael Mayer and the eclectic master that is Running Back’s Gerd Janson. Deep house lovers will be excited by the annual appearance of Âme, plus sets from the masterful Dixon, Mano Le Tough and darker sounds from Afterlife pair Tale Of Us. For Bicep and for Vladimir Ivkovic it will be the only Ibiza shows 2018.
Solomun + 1 allows you to see the influential DJ play in his natural environment with his closest musical friends, and plenty of impromptu back to back sets often arise to make each party all the more unique.
