Berlin Clubbing Restrictions To Loosen On June 18th

Berlin is easing its restrictions on nightclubs tomorrow, as RA reports.

As of Friday, June 18, venues will be allowed to hold outdoor events with dancing for up to 250 people.

Up to 10 people from five different households will be allowed to attend events together.

Attendees will be required to produce a recent negative COVID-19 test and wear FFP2-masks while not seated.

Outdoor events without dancing are allowed for up to 1000 people. If the capacity surpasses 250, producing negative COVID tests is required by attendees.

Outside of clubs, mask wearing is no longer mandatory in 35 busy streets and squares in the city, and the midnight-to-5:AM restriction on selling alcohol in pubs and restuarants has been scrapped.

COVID cases in Germany have been on a steady decline since hitting around 20,000 new daily cases at the end of April to an average of 1,557 new infections over the past week
