Mark Reeve drops “Don’t You Want My Love” on Elevate

ELEVATE – a label started by one of the best loved techno duos of the moment Pig&Dan, focuses on releasing music to make the listener feel just that – ‘elevated’. Since its inception in 2012, its seen a stream of hits climb the Beatport charts, featuring artists including Amelie Lens, Monika Kruse and Julian Jeweil.

With a collab EP back in 2015 with Pig&Dan, and a solo EP in 2013. Mark Reeve takes us back to his UK roots with some 90’s inspired beats and house vocals.

“Don’t You Want My Love” sets out to be the anthem of the summer. Its undeniably catchy with a vocal inspired dancefloor breakdown, accompanied by a jacking bassline makes this track hit all the right buttons. It’s seismic low end and crisp percussive slices cut through the chunky groove.

“Finding It Hard To Sleep” is the darker offering on this EP. A hypnotic linear drive, with focusing bass frequencies along an ever evolving low end modulating pad. It works perfectly with the groovier A side, to complete a top notch EP once again from Mark Reeve.
