Review: Dee Jay Groove – Caldera [Symphonic Distribution]

Dee Jay Groove is a Berlin based artist whose music is inspired by his surroundings. His newest release is now on Symphonic Distribution and is another of his inventive new tunes. Called Caldera, named after a beautiful view on the island of Santorini in his native country, it is actually a late night cut with real mischief in its grooves.

Built on a bed or rasping bass synths and popping percussive hits, it is textured and raw and has some great female vocal samples adding some sexiness. Big piano chords come in at the mid point and help elevate it to the next level. As such this is another essential tune.
