Do Techno Clubs Really Need Door Policies?


Few things stoke as much controversy in the club world as face control. Some see it as the first line of defense against the loss of identity caused by techno-tourism. Others claim that subjective door policies smack of unnecessary elitism.

Of course, Berghain’s notorious test of club cred has long held centre-stage in this debate.
